Positive, Great location near the historic center made it easy to explore. The breakfast buffet was definitely a highlight, with plenty of options. Comfy beds in the Family Room. And secure parking was a lifesaver in this area.

Small but comfortable hotel, with a good breakfast, unbeatable location and quiet to rest and with an excellent welcome and information from the employee at the reception to leave our vehicle parked, close to the hotel, safely and free of charge, next to the castle, on Place Saint-Louis (access by the medieval Porte de St. Louis). Those of you who travel in large motorhomes are not in the right place for this; be respectful of this, even if it is not forbidden; there is a large and beautiful area in a bucolic meander of the river La Rance, next to the river port, accessible by the road that passes under the large bridge over the river and which you can appreciate from the spectacular viewpoint (on foot) of the English Garden, next to the head of the small Basilique Saint-Sauveur, viewpoint over the river and small historic river port of Dinan. Without a vehicle, don't leave Dinan without enjoying the walk along the "Promenade de la Duchesse Anne", from the same viewpoint, then follow the Rue du Rempart - go down the Rue Michel towards the river, walk along it, Rue du Quai and go up, through the historic medieval streets Petit Fort and Jerzual, as they did for centuries neighbors and merchants between the port and medieval village. Hotel located in the heart of the beautiful and historic town of Dinan, an inexcusable base for Brittany. It is unforgivable not to spend at least one night there, better two; in fact, we would have stayed at least two more nights in one of the most charming Breton towns, if we had had more days.
Limited underground parking spaces in the hotel, although more than compensated for by the nearby, free and very safe option of Place Saint-Louis, in the town centre, next to Dinan Castle.

Lovely staff, homely feel, excellent location & parking.Dinan is a wonderful place to visit, cultured, arty, medievel, with modern shopping , I recommend it.
Tea making facilities in the room would be good but this is not the done thing in brittany. Due to location little outside space belonging to the hotel itself. But the hotel is surrounded by other facilities bars., Museums, shopping for this.

Staff were friendly and helpful offered good advice on what restaurants to eat at in the town. Great to have underground parking available. Was an ideal Hotel as we wished to see the start of the Tour de France or would be good for any events held in the town. Hotel opposite the Tourist Information Centre which was very handy.

The breakfast options were impressively varied, and the secure underground parking offered a peace of mind for motorbike owners. Plus, the unique balconies for selected rooms added a nice touch for enjoying the view and fresh air.
Rooms were on the smaller side, and navigating the cramped space could be an issue, especially for families. The bathroom setups were inconvenient, with sliding doors that compromised privacy and awkward shower designs requiring you to step down without any grab rails.

I would recommend this hotel for a number of reasons. It is well placed for access to the town by foot.It has its own car park. The staff are extremely pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast is quite adequate and there is even afternoon tea available. The price represents very good value.
As expected from a 2 star hotel the facilities are adequate but not luxurious- our en-suite had a shower instead of a bath and was a little cramped. However I would still recommend this hotel.

Fantastic value for money! Lovely hotel, staff extremely friendly and helpful.
We had assumed we would be able to park but it turned out you had to have reserved a spot. However, the receptionist was very helpful and able to point out several places to park for free (one of which was right over the road!).

Great location, nice rooms, helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, good value, no problems at all. Our rooms were on the third floor and both had a stunning view of the castle main tower. The family room (for 4) was roomy with great character. We loved the town of Dinan, and would stay at this hotel again.
